Art and Wine Walk

Cost: $12 online, $18 at the event
Spend an evening sipping vino at Plano’s monthly Art and Wine Walk. Each ticket includes a souvenir glass, passport, and tasting guide. As you wander Plano’s historic district, enjoy live music and pop-up art exhibits. Walkers who fill their glass at more than six stops will be entered to win gift certificates to local boutiques and eateries.
Easter Egg Hound Hunt
When: April 8
Time: 10-11AM
Where: Oak Point Park, Plano
Cost: $9 per dog
Put your puppy’s nose to the test at the Hound Hunt. Treat filled Easter eggs will be scattered all over Oak Point Park for your dog to discover. Owners, your four legged friends must be on non-retractable leashes at all times and have up to date tags—limited to two dogs per human. This event will occur rain or shine.
Victorian Extravaganza and Spring Festival
When: April 15
Time: 10AM-2PM
Where: Heritage Farmstead Museum, Plano
Cost: $6-8
Bring your little ones out for an eggstravaganza. Four different age group hunts will occur—more than 5,000 eggs will be hidden for the event. Once baskets have been filled, enjoy an afternoon of face painting, concessions, wagon rides, and crafts. Due to the 50-kid maximum for each hunt, it’s important that you register early!
Aquatic Easter Egg Hunt
When: April 15
Time: 12-1PM
Where: Plano Aquatic Center
Cost: $6
Bring your little swimmers to the Plano Aquatic Center for a wet and wild egg hunt.
The kids participating will swim to collect the bobbing eggs left by the Easter Bunny. Once all the eggs have been gathered, parents and children are encouraged to stay for a free swim. Pre-registration is required for this event.
Spring Eggstravaganza
When: April 13
Time: 6-8PM
Where: The Colony Five Star Complex
Cost: $3 in advance, $5 at the event
The 12th annual egg hunt in The Colony is back with more hidden treasures than ever! Hundreds of eggs will be stuffed with candy and prizes for your little hunters to gather. Afterwards, Peter Rabbit will be available for a photo op and kids will take home their very own potted flower to water and watch grow.
Plano Art Fest
When: April 22-23
Time: 5-10PM
Where: McCall Plaza, Plano
Celebrate the Plano arts at this free two-day event. Visit the Makers Market where nearly 40 vendors will be selling their works and offering live demonstrations. Wander the streets of downtown Plano as chalk artists participate in a mural contest and graffiti artists shake their spray cans to life. The Community Stage will feature hours of entertainment including performances by the Plano Symphony Orchestra and the Chamberlain Ballet.
Beatles Night 2017
When: April 29
Time: 7PM
Where: Amphitheater at Oak Point Park, Plano
Cost: $10-15
Your favorite group from across the pond is performing live in Oak Point Park—well the tribute band at least. Spend a night crooning to Beatles tunes with A Hard Day’s Night—one of Texas’ favorite cover bands. Outside alcohol and pets are prohibited, but attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic, lawn chairs, and blankets for this evening of music.
