Dewey Knit? Knitting Group for Adults

When: February 4

Time: 2-4PM

Where: Richardson Library    

Grab your needles or borrow your grandma’s for Richardson’s knitting group. Every first Saturday of the month, gather for a two-hour, knit-a-thon at the library. Whether you’ve never touched a ball of yarn or your signature Christmas gift is knitted mittens, all are welcome to join.


Run for Rover

When: February 18

Time: 9AM

Where: McInnish Dog Park, Carrollton  

Cost: Human-$15, Dog-$5

Man’s best friend is invited to this 5K race through Carrollton. All proceeds of the run will be donated to the local animal services and adoption center. Don’t have a furry friend? Now is the perfect time to adopt. A shorter run will be available for smaller or older dogs that can’t quite make the hike.


Love is Blind, Valentine’s Haunted House

When: February 10-11, 14

Time: 7-11PM

Where: Dark Hour Haunted House, Plano    

Cost: $28 

If your heart is black and twisty, you may want to opt for a darker evening of fun on February 14th. Wander through this haunted house with convincing sets, professional actors, and technology that will scare the love right out of you. This haunted house spans 37,000 square feet, leaving no shortage of space to bring your worst nightmares to life.


Daddy, Daughter Dance

When: February 25

Time: 3PM-8PM

Where: Cascades Conference Center   

Cost: $35 per couple, $10 each additional child

Calling all little princesses and their knights in shining armor. Dress to impress for this night of dinner and dancing. Come ready to cut a rug and spend one on one time with your daughters (ages 3-12). We guarantee you’ll leave with lasting memories and sore feet!
